WHATS IN A CELL?
nucleus - organelle that houses the DNA of eukaryotic cells
golgi aparatus - organelle that packages and distribes molecules produced by a eukaryotic cells
lysosome - organelle in a eukaryotic cell that contains digestive enzymes
cell membrane - lipid bilayer with embedded proteins that encloses the cytoplasm; essentioal to the cell's cytoplasm; also called the plasma membrane
mitochondia - organelle that produces much of that ATP made by a eukayotic cell
ribosome - organelle on which proteins are made
endoplasmic reticula - cell membranes in the cytoplasm that transport substances made by the cell
vacuole - membrane bound cavity in plan cells used for storage
